Clergy taxes are incredibly unique in a complex tax system, so it can be hard to find a tax preparer who actually understands how they work. I’m always getting requests for referrals, so I turned to my readers for help. These are the tax preparers that my readers have recommended. I have not personally worked with any of them and have done no research or due diligence, but they each have at least one happy pastor client.

Update on Beverly Worth and Worth Financial:

Beverly has passed, we are in the process of closing and eventually will close the website.
Under the tab “Free Checklist and Worksheet” – we have placed a list of tax preparers that have been taught by Beverly, they are willing to take new clients.
There will not be a 2022 Edition of “Worth’s Income Tax Guide for Ministers”: We are working with a friend of Beverly’s who can continue the minister tax guide writing but under a different name. The supplies and worksheets might be continued but that is TBD.
